Haw River Trail led by Lynne Bresler

If you're looking for a scenic hike on the MST along the shores of the Haw, this is it! Join Lynne as she leads a hike along the Haw River Trail, NC's newly recognized state trail.

Meet at 9:15 am for a 9:30 start at Great Bend Park, 350 Greenwood Drive, Burlington. This 5 mile out and back hike is rated moderate with stairs and gentle slopes.

Points of interest include the Glencoe Dam, the old mill race waterway, and the mill village of Glencoe .

Bring water, snack, insect repellent, sunscreen, and wear closed toed shoes. No pets allowed.
