Greensboro East Guilford Task Force Workday

Join the Greensboro East Guilford Task Force for general trail maintainence and  to repair / improve the two long boardwalks on the Osprey Trail will continue for this workday. The work we do will depend to some extent on the number of volunteers planning to participate on the workday. As is usually the case the weather condition leading up to and expected on the workday may impact what task we address.

By participating in this September workday you will also be celebrating the MST's 48^th birthday.

Location: Meet at parking area behind the Chick-fil-A on Pisgah Church Rd, Greensboro

Health and Safety:

Bring: water, work gloves, appropriate clothes, work shoes, snack and/or lunch.

If you are new to trail work, there will be an experienced volunteer to work with you.

Tools: We have tools. If there is a need for specific tools I will email those volunteers coming a couple of days before the workday.

Weather: In the event that the workday is canceled due to bad weather, an E-mail will be sent out the day before the workday by 8:00 p.m. to those who have registered for this service project.

A breakfast snack will be provided at the meet location.
